4. Clap Pushups
This is more of an advanced kind of pushup and should be done by people who have mastered the regular pushups. Clap pushups are basically an explosive kind of workout. You try to steal a clap or two between getting up and going down for one more rep. This works on your shoulder more and is known to help avoid injuries. Start off in a regular position, lower yourself first, then push hard off the ground and clap once before going back down for the second rep. Keep your legs wide apart for better balance.
