Although it is a horrifying thought that you would be sharing your meal with anyone, the truth is that there are some workers in restaurants that carry spoons or forks with them to sample their favorite dishes before they are taken out to you, the customer. Since these utensils are rarely (if ever!) cleaned between “samplings” you could be sharing that amazing dessert you just ordered with several people in the kitchen.
