9. Hair loss
Some dogs normally shed their coat during certain times of the year, but when your dog starts to lose more than the usual amount of hair or fur when it is not expected, you should make the time to investigate further. This can sometimes occur due to tick, flea or mite infestation or may be due to something more serious such as staph infection, fungal infection, yeast infection or endocrine problems.
