8. Diarrhea
It’s not all that uncommon for a dog to have a little bit of diarrhea once in a while, especially after eating a bit too much of something they are not used to, like a generous helping of human food. On the other hand, if this becomes a persistent problem, it is definitely worth calling your vet. Be prepared because the veterinarian may want you to take a close look at your dog’s droppings to check for signs of serious illness. Much of the time, diarrhea is a problem that can be dealt with without a trip to see the vet but it’s always worth the little bit of time and effort it takes to make a simple phone call.
