15. Shared perks
Buying a home can seem a little isolating to some folks. You are, after all, on your own little “island” and do not have the same community atmosphere that other options can provide. Renting in a large apartment or condo complex often brings people closer together and creates a shared sense of community. And then there are the perks. It’s highly unlikely that any home you purchase will come with its own fully-equipped exercise facility, maintenance-free swimming pool, dog park or free W-Fi.
