7. Scales are not your best friend

Visiting the scale from time to time is a good idea, obviously, in order to know if the process is going well. What is counterproductive, however, is obsessing over it. As I mentioned earlier, the more you compare yourself with an ideal (and therefore judge yourself), the more anguish and anxiety you’re subject to. Needless to say, this is not good for you in any way.
