5. More is less: You’ll never be hungry again

As time goes by, start including more foods from the Mediterranean diet into your meals. As you continue changing your eating habits, you can also start increasing the amount of food you eat, as long as you feel it necessary. This is because a number of calories you’ll be eating with each particular food will be less.

For instance, you could indulge yourself with big salads, or eat two fruits for dessert. Just don’t overdo it, as your stomach will get used to receiving huge amounts of food, and it could make it harder for you to maintain your weight later on.
