Diagnosing MS can be extremely confusing since symptoms can be intermittent, appearing and disappearing with no discernible regularity. When one symptom goes away, another may or may not take its place. It is not uncommon for MS patients to report that it took them a while to make sense of their symptoms. They often sum up their situation by saying that it wasn’t one particular system that made them suspect something serious was wrong but more of a sense that things just “weren’t right” with their body.
