Earlier this year, a mom and son from Lake City, Utah saw a video about autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), which is basically a soothing and relaxing sensation triggered by a tingling like sensation on the scalp. The boy decided to make his own video about it and the mom agreed to be his model come “guinea pig”. However, her decision backfired and this ‘soothing’ experience was anything but!
