5. Avoid “screen time” (TV, mobile phone, etc)
Research has shown that the blue light emitted from a computer and mobile phone disturbs sleep even more than natural light. Even a relaxing TV show can stimulate you and make it harder for you to fall asleep. So one hour before going to bed, try dimming the lights to facilitate your body to secrete melatonin and try reading a book instead. Reading is a sleep inducing activity, especially when done in a reclined position.
