Turo states on its website that when renting your vehicle you’re covered by a robust liability insurance and your car is safe against any sort of physical damage.
Income can vary depending on several factors, but $4000-6000/year seems realistic from what’s advertised on the two sites above. This may allow you to take care of at least part of your monthly car payments, or even make an extra income on your second car.
