Many people that had never heard of kale are probably hearing a lot more about this green, leafy vegetable in recent years thanks to health-related magazines and websites, and also from celebrity doctors on television who have a fondness for natural remedies. Kale is touted as a food that can slow down the aging of the brain, and a study of more than 13,000 women conducted by Harvard Medical School concluded that eating kale can lower the age of the brain by one or two years. For those that enjoy gardening, kale is very easy to grow just about anywhere.
