A number of years ago the gases that were used in spray cans were recognized as potential threats to our planet’s atmosphere and may have been degrading the protective ozone layer that surrounds the earth. Even though the use of propellants that were believed to be a danger to our atmosphere was stopped quite a while ago, aerosol sprays still contain gases that can be harmful to people. Popular products like hairspray and antiperspirants can lead to allergic reactions and asthma attacks.
