There are many ways to prepare meat to make it tastier, but what some of these companies do is taking it way beyond any reasonable measure. Some of the worst offenders on this list are hot dogs, sausages, bacon and lunch meats. The greatest danger is from the preservatives used during their preparation, many of which are known carcinogens. Smoked meats are not exactly a healthy alternative since the smoke causes residues such as tar that can end up in the product.
